Admissions Procedures

Important Dates:

• Application Opens - June 15th
• Priority Enrollment Deadline – October 1st
• Application Deadline - May 31st

Applications MUST be verified on or before May 31st to be considered. It can take PTCAS weeks to verify an application. Please plan accordingly.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis with priority given to those who submit by the Priority Enrollment Deadline.

Step 1: PTCAS Application

• Complete application through the Physical Therapy Centralized Application System (PTCAS) at https://ptcas.cas.myliaison.com.
• Submit all academic transcripts, recommendation letters (1 MUST be from a PT), personal statement, observation hours, resume, and English language scores, if applicable. 
• All verified applications will be screened for eligibility. Ineligible applications will be put on hold or dismissed from consideration.
• Faculty will evaluate the applicant’s PTCAS application using a rubric.

Step 2: Kira Interview (Virtual)

• Top applicants based on the PTCAS Application will be invited to participate in a virtual Kira Interview.
• All Kira Interviews will be screened with the Kira Integrity Summary Report. Any concerns of integrity may result in the dismissal of an application.
• Faculty will evaluate the applicant’s Kira Virtual Interview using a rubric.

Step 3: Faculty Interview (Virtual)

• Top applicants based on the Kira Virtual Interview will be invited to participate in a final virtual Faculty Interview.
• Faculty will evaluate the applicant’s Faculty Virtual Interview using a rubric.

Notification:

• Top applicants based on a holistic evaluation of the application, supporting documents, and interviews will be offered admissions. 
• Applicants will be accepted, put on hold, or declined and notified by email of the admissions decision. 
• Accepted applicants will also receive a call from the Director of Admissions.

Seat Deposit 

• If an offer is extended, there is a $400 deposit to save your seat.
