New Admitted Student Checklist

You did it! You’ve been admitted to OBU! Now it’s time to turn that acceptance into your next chapter as a Bison. Use this admitted students checklist to take the next steps after college acceptance, from securing your enrollment to finding your home on campus. Take that next step and make your OBU future official!

    Send In Your Enrollment Guarantee

    Your enrollment guarantee is a payment of $250 that secures your place at OBU and signals that you’re ready to become a Bison. Submit your college enrollment deposit early to get the earliest possible enrollment time and the best opportunity to plan your class schedule.

    Submit your Housing Application

    Make campus your home! Complete your college housing application to share your living preferences, find or select a roommate and rank your housing options. The application takes about 10 minutes and gets you started toward securing your on-campus home. Unmarried students under 21 are required to live on campus. Watch for Enrollment Day in April to preview residence halls and suites.

    Fill Out the Health Service Record

    Your student health record form is required for all students. New freshmen and transfer students must submit the completed form to Student Health Services to be eligible for campus housing. Fill out the Student Health Record Form.

Enrollment Day

Get a first look at life as one of our OBU admitted students! Enrollment Day gives you the chance to preview classes and residence life, connect with OBU and take important steps toward your first semester. Enrollment Day takes place each April.

Welcome Week and Move-In Day

Welcome Week is your launch into life at OBU! Across several days, you’ll settle into your new home, meet friends, discover campus resources and find your community before classes begin. By the end of the week, you’ll be ready to start your Bison journey.
