Throughout the year, Women of Vision participates in various events on campus as a way of enriching the experiences of our students and enhancing the campus. Women of Vision members often serve at campus activities. This offers a tremendous opportunity to engage with students and build friendships with other women who participate

October 23  -The 10-Year Celebration of Women of Vision

  • This event is open to all women whether a alumni, parent, staff, faculty, or friend of the university.

  • 6-8 pm, OBU Geiger Center, Room 219-220

  • Keynote Speaker: Kelly King, author, speaker, and women's ministry leader at Quail Spring Baptist Church

  • Enjoy a VIP tour of historic Shawnee Hall prior to its ribbon cutting and dedication

  • Hear about the many projects and campus enhancements WOV has provided over the past decade

October 23-25

  • Enjoy a lovely experience on Bison Hill during this exciting weekend of festivities, celebration and connection. Bring your family and friends and join us for The WEEKEND 

Early December 

  • OBU Community Christmas Party on Campus

Past Events in 2025 include: 

  • Assisting with Welcome Week activities of passing out water on Move-In Day, greeting new parents, serving snacks and championing our new OBU future shapers.
  • Celebrating Women's Day in Sports by passing out treats to our female athletes in the Noble Complex  
  • FOUNDERS DAY: We celebrated OBU’s birthday and provided snacks to our beloved students in the lower GC following Chapel
  • Green and Gold Gala on the Hill featured New York best selling author and speaker John Maxwell. The evening included a silent auction, tours of historic buildings on campus, and inspiring connection and celebration with friends, alumni, donors and community members. A tremendous celebration as we forge forward and Shape the Future
