Chapel

Chapel is an important and valued time set aside for students, faculty and staff to worship together every Wednesday at 10am. Inspiring music, impactful messages, biblical truth and meaningful fellowship are highlights of chapel each week. Throughout the year, chapels are held with special emphasis such as global outreach commissionings and FOCUS week. On a frequent basis, chapel is scheduled on select Mondays and Fridays for additional worship experiences.

CONNECT Chapel

CONNECT Chapel is a student ministry chapel program that recaps, encourages and celebrates Connect Groups and student ministry initiatives in a celebratory atmosphere.  These chapels are held every other Friday at 10am throughout the semester.

Canterbury

Canterbury is an off campus time of worship and fellowship that meets every other Thursday at a location in Shawnee. Canterbury incorporates the creative arts in each meeting and seeks to reach the community of Shawnee and show them Christ's love through relationships and service projects. It is one of OBU students most cherished worship opportunities to strengthe fellowship, faith and a sense of community in the Body of Christ.

OBU Worship

OBU Worship is comprised of students from a variety of majors across campus who have a heart for leading worship. This worship team unites to lead students in a meaningful time of adoration and focus on the Lord during each chapel experience. The team is also invited to lead worship off campus at various church services, youth camps and other ministry events.
