Licensure and Certification

The OBU OTD program meets the requirements for graduates to sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination, which leads to the credential Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR). Prior to enrolling in the program, students should verify that the program meets licensure requirements in the state where they plan to practice. Some states may have additional requirements for practice in specific settings. Students should review state licensing board websites for detailed information.

The Professional Licensure Disclosures page provides information about state licensure requirements.
