The OBU Career Portal (Symplicity) is OBU's online recruitment system for jobs and internships and is the official job listing service that provides employers, OBU students and alumni the ability to directly interact with each other. OBU is an institution founded on Christian principles and teachings whose primary purpose is to conduct educational programs in the traditional arts and sciences and in other disciplines with the intent to prepare students for effective leadership and service in the various vocations.

Our mission finds expression through a strong liberal arts core curriculum which supports degree programs designed to prepare students for careers and graduate study; through activities planned to stimulate spiritual, intellectual, social, cultural, and physical development; and through an environment that reflects the application of Christian principles and teachings.

  • OBU offers more than 80 majors, minors, and concentrations to explore.
  • OBU offers several graduate degree programs (Master of Arts in Christian Studies, Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Business Administration, Master of Divinity, Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology); certificate programs are also offered in Strategic Business Operations, Corporate Innovation, Project Management, Sports Management, and Alternative Teaching Certificate (ACCESS); integrated graduate programs are also available. In addition to these, the Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies will launch in early 2027
  • OBU offers one Doctoral Program, Doctor of Occupational Therapy
    • The Doctor of Physical Therapy program will launch in Fall 2027.
