OBU Harvest Court Candidates Announced

The 2025 OBU Harvest Court candidates were recently announced. The senior men and women will be recognized during the annual Harvest Court ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at halftime of the Bison football game against Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The game kicks off at 6 p.m. inside Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Complex. The event is part of The Weekend, OBU’s homecoming celebration.

Members of the Harvest Court are nominated by their peers in six categories: Most Servant-Like Man, Most Servant-Like Woman, Best All-Around Man, Best All-Around Woman, Harvest King and Harvest Queen. Winners are determined by a student body vote.

The crowning of the Harvest Queen is a longstanding OBU tradition dating back to 1920. The first Harvest King was crowned in 1996. The Most Servant-Like and Best All-Around categories were later added to recognize students who exemplify outstanding character and leadership on campus.

Harvest Queen nominees for 2025 include Samantha Harrison of Hemphill, Texas, who is pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies with minors in family science, worship studies and cross-cultural studies; Kennedy Neal of Claremore, a psychology pre-counseling major with a minor in family science, and Liv Todd of Fayetteville, Arkansas, who is majoring in nursing.

Harvest King nominees for 2025 include Yonas Daniel of Haslet, Texas, who is studying exercise science pre-allied health; Cole Taylor of Coweta, who is majoring in communication studies with a minor in biblical studies, and Joshua Wideman of Istanbul, Turkey, who is studying computer science.

Most Servant-Like Man nominees are Gabe Atyia of Seminole, who is studying theology with a minor in computer science; Clayton Freeman of Newcastle, who is earning a degree in biblical and theological studies with a minor in psychology, and Gabe Lane of Broken Arrow, who is studying theology and ministry with an emphasis in biblical languages.

Most Servant-Like Woman nominees are Lauren Crouch of Edmond, who is majoring in exercise science pre-allied health with a minor in natural science; Anna Rader of Sulphur, Louisiana, who is studying exercise science pre-allied health, and Anna Welch of Suwanee, Georgia, who is earning a global marketplace engagement degree in business.

Best All-Around Man nominees include Payton Carter of Weatherford, who is majoring in music composition; Isaac Liston of Meridian, Idaho, who is majoring in global marketplace engagement with an emphasis in teaching English as a second language, and Cole Raymick of Chengdu, China, who is studying biblical and theological studies with an emphasis in biblical languages and a minor in psychology.

Best All-Around Woman nominees include Maggie Butler of Owasso, who is majoring in secondary mathematics education with minors in Christian ministry and music; Samantha Lehr of Wall, Texas, who is studying nursing, and Mackenzie Robertson of Collinsville, who is pursuing a degree in elementary education.

These students will also be honored during a special Harvest Court dinner on the evening of October 24. During the event, nominees will celebrate with family, friends, faculty and staff as they are recognized for their accomplishments and involvement on campus during their time on Bison Hill.
