Hannigan Headed to Bison Hill as VP for Enrollment Strategy

OBU is excited to announce that Scott Hannigan is coming to Bison Hill as vice president for enrollment strategy to lead admissions, graduate and online recruitment, and student financial services teams.
Hannigan is a seasoned higher education and financial services professional who has built a distinguished career marked by leadership roles in admissions and advancement. He will assume his duties at OBU effective January 13, 2025.

He will help lead us effectively in this pivotal Shape the Future vision and take our enrollment to new heights. We are delighted to welcome Scott and his incredible family.”
Most recently Hannigan has served as senior advancement officer at Harding University, a role he assumed in August 2024. In this capacity, he is instrumental in fostering relationships with donors and driving the university’s strategic fundraising initiatives.
Prior to this role, Hannigan held several key positions within Harding University’s admissions office. From September 2018 to August 2024, he served as senior director of admissions, overseeing recruitment strategies and enrollment goals. Before that, he was director of admissions recruiting programs and communications from March 2012 to September 2018, managing outreach efforts and communications designed to attract prospective students.
Before his career in higher education, Hannigan gained valuable experience in the financial sector. From January 2008 to March 2012, he worked as a branch manager and lender at Regions Bank, where he led branch operations and provided financial solutions to clients.
Hannigan’s academic achievements include a Master of Business Administration in business administration and management from Harding University, earned between August 2008 and May 2011. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Harding, where he completed his undergraduate studies in May 2008.
