Meek to Speak at OBU Business Forum May 1
April 27, 2023
Oklahoma Baptist University alumnus Tony Meek, an entrepreneur who has owned many real estate-related ventures over the past two decades, will be the featured speaker during OBU’s next Business Forum hosted by the Paul Dickinson School of Business at 10 a.m., May 1 in the Tulsa Royalties Auditorium of Bailey Business Center.
Meek, who grew up in Moore, is a 1998 OBU graduate and has a Bachelor of Arts in religion from East Texas Baptist University.
Meek is president of Meek Construction, a company which specializes in securing funds from banks, coordinating the contracts between banks and customers, and overseeing the construction of the projects.
He has been married to his wife Mary for 21 years and they are the parents of daughter LaBelle and son Daxton. Meek loves spending time with his family, whether camping or just hanging out at the house. He loves OU football and the Oklahoma City Thunder, but above all he “loves serving an awesome God that has blessed him beyond his wildest dreams.”
Dr. David Houghton, chair of the Dickinson School of Business at OBU, is looking forward to welcoming Meek for the Business Forum. These forums at OBU provide an excellent platform where students can learn from industry experts.
