She served as a private piano teacher from 2009 to 2014. She also spent three summers working as a private piano lessons teacher at Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony, teaching one week each summer from 2011 to 2013.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in music with a piano concentration from East Central University. She later earned a Master of Music in piano performance from the University of Oklahoma. She also earned a Master of Music in collaborative piano from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Dr. Matthew Emerson, dean of theology, arts and humanities, is grateful for Marquardt to join the faculty of the Division of Music.

“We are so glad to be able to have Ms. Marquardt, who has previously served as our staff sccompanist, join our full-time faculty this year,” Emerson said. “She is a talented pianist, a thoughtful contributor to the work of the Division of Music and a caring teacher.”
