Kimray CEO to Speak at Free OBU Hosted Luncheon Feb. 7

January 25, 2019

OBU will host its next Bison Connections luncheon Feb. 7, at Jasco’s Paul K. Thompson Event Center in Oklahoma City, located at 10 E. Memorial Road. Thomas Hill III, CEO of Kimray, Inc., will speak on “Recovering Leadership: Musings of an Addict Leader.” The event will begin at 11:30 a.m., and lunch is provided for the free event. Attendees must RSVP by Feb. 4.

Hosted by Jasco Products Company and OBU, the Bison Connections luncheon is intended to provide a platform for OBU affiliates to come together with other professionals in a networking experience. The OBU Graduate College aims to bring in speakers who will present practical workplace information on both leadership and ethics.

As the grandson of Kimray’s founder, Garman Kimmell, Hill grew up with a strong sense of stewardship and heritage. After earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University, Hill returned to manage his family’s company, now a globally-recognized manufacturer of oil and gas products.

In his early days with Kimray, Hill’s life spun out of control and both he and his company hit rock bottom. Through significant pain and loss, he began the long and difficult road of recovery that transformed both his leadership and his life. Today, Hill enjoys sharing his story with others who can benefit from all he has learned, and he is committed to carrying the message of “Recovering Leadership” to other “addict leaders” and practicing those same principles in his own life.

The Bison Connections luncheon is sponsored by Trilink Restoration Services, Insurica, Jasco Products Company and OBU’s Graduate College. To RSVP by Feb. 4, or for more information, email graduateinfo@okbu.edu.
