Jassey to Speak at OBU Business Forum Oct. 15

Mark Jassey, chief operating officer for 180 Medical, vice president of integration for ConvaTec Home Distribution and 2006 OBU alumnus, will be the featured speaker during Oklahoma Baptist University’s next Business Forum. The event will be held Monday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. in the Tulsa Royalties Auditorium of the Bailey Business Center on OBU’s campus in Shawnee. His lecture, titled “Finding Your Passion in Unusual Places,” is hosted by the Paul Dickinson College of Business.
Jassey has more than 12 years of experience within various levels of operation, including sales, supply chain and information technology. Currently, he assists in the development of the strategic vision of 180 Medical, as well as providing daily operational guidance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with majors in finance and management.
Jassey is passionate about communicating the “why” behind what his organization does and how it can positively impact those it serves. He has been afforded the opportunity to travel internationally and interact with diverse product development and global strategy teams for new product launches.
180 Medical is the market leader in the medical supply distribution field, specializing in intermittent urinary catheters and ostomy supplies. 180 Medical and its subsidiaries have a team of more than 500 employees working across the nation. The organization is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ConvaTec group, a publicly-traded medical technology company on the London Stock Exchange.
An active volunteer, Jassey’s devotion to serving others extends to the Oklahoma City community, where he contributes to multiple non-profit organizations. Most recently, he’s served on the board of directors for Sharing Tree, a metro-area nonprofit that serves families in need by providing a dignified shopping experience at no cost. Jassey is also a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL program.
Jassey and his wife, Brittany, have one son, Joey, and reside in the Belle Isle area of Oklahoma City. They enjoy traveling, summer days by the pool and debating the football prowess of Oklahoma University versus Notre Dame.
