Whitlock Shares OBU Update at BGCO Annual Meeting

Dr. David W. Whitlock, president of Oklahoma Baptist University, addressed delegates at the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma annual meeting Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
"OBU is in the business of transforming lives, helping students find their place, their purpose, and their calling, in the Kingdom of God," Whitlock said. "We teach our students how to integrate their faith into everything they do, so that when they leave Bison Hill, they are the light in a dark world, bringing hope to the lost, and healing to the sick and wounded. This is more than merely a mission. It is our purpose, our God-given charge, and the reason OBU exists."
