SGA Honors Faculty and Staff ‘Seven Who Care’

OBU students honored seven faculty and staff members Wednesday, April 5, for their contributions to the campus community. The honorees received the Seven Who Care Award during the university's annual Hyde Park chapel service in Raley Chapel. Current members of OBU's Student Government Association presented the awards.
The Seven Who Care Award is given by SGA to honor the hard work and dedication that the university's faculty and staff exhibit every day. The recipients are selected based upon nominations by students, faculty and staff.
The 2017 Seven Who Care recipients include Dr. Tawa Anderson, assistant professor of philosophy and director of the honors program; Dr. D.H. Dilbeck, assistant professor of history; Dr. Jim Vernon, professor of music and director of the Bisonette Glee Club; Marla Hestilow, cashier; Dr. Norris Russell, professor of kinesiology and co-faculty athletics representative; Erin Guleserian, resident director, WMU, and housing coordinator; and Ann McNellis, adjunct professor of communication arts, language and literature.
