University to Host Eight Senior Art Shows April 1-May 13

During the months of April and May, the Oklahoma Baptist University Division of Art and Design will host eight senior art shows. All shows, except one, will be held in the OBU Art Building, located in the southeast corner of OBU's campus, on the west side of Kickapoo between University and Midland.
Zac Trosper’s show opened March 26 and runs through March 31. Emily Workman will display her work April 1-7, with an opening April 1 from 7-10 p.m. The public is invited to the opening of Lindsay Swindell’s show April 8, 7-10 p.m., and her work will be displayed through April 15.
Peggy Mosley will display her work April 16-22, and the public is invited to a show closing event, April 21, 7:30-10 p.m. Sarah Blankenship with open her show April 23 from 6-8 p.m., with the show running April 23-29.
Jasmine Robinson’s work will be on display from April 30-May 6, with an opening reception April 30 from 7-9 p.m. Emma Williams will host a show opening May 8 from 7-9 p.m, and her work will be displayed May 7-May 13.
Josh Norman’s show will be held at Vintage Venue, 120 N. Broadway in Shawnee. His event will take place May 11 from 7-9 p.m. The show, titled, “Here’s to the Fools,” is come-and-go and open to the public.
Three students held their shows before spring break. Eja Bauer hosted her show Feb. 10-16, while Abi Besco hosted a show Feb. 24-Mar. 2. Sarah Gilstad hosted a show March 3-9.
