OBU College of Business Welcomes New Faculty

OBU’s Paul Dickinson College of Business is pleased to welcome two new faculty members. New faculty include Dr. Daryl Green, assistant professor of business, and Dr. Richard Martinez, professor of business.
Green earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then earned a Master of Arts in organizational management from Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee. He then earned a Doctor of Business Administration in strategic leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach. Green has served as an adjunct or part-time professor and guest lecturer at Lincoln Memorial University, Knoxville College, Alabama A&M University, Johnson University, and more. He also worked for more than 26 years for the U.S. Department of Energy, serving most recently as a program manager in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Martinez earned a Bachelor of Science in political science at Arizona State University. He then earned a Master of Business Administration in management of information systems at Baylor University. He later earned a Ph.D. in management from Texas A&M University. He most recently served as the chair of the business department at LeTourneau University. He previously served at Houston Baptist University as program director for the master’s degree of international business; chair of management, marketing, and business; and as the interim associate dean for the school of business. He also spent four years at Charleston Southern University, serving in various roles including department chair for the school of business, director of the center for Christian leadership, and assistant vice president for academic affairs. He also has additional teaching experience at several universities, including Cedarville University, Taylor University, Baylor, and Texas A&M.
