Pastors School Focuses on Power of Prayer

OBU hosted more than 90 participants during the 2016 OBU Pastors School July 11-13. The theme for the event, designed to provide a ministry development opportunity for Baptist pastors, was “Prayer: Key to Preaching the Word in Power.” The event featured K. Marshall Williams, Sr., (pictured front row second from left) senior pastor of Nazarene Baptist Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and president of the National African American Fellowship, SBC; and Michael Catt, (pictured front row center) senior pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Breakout sessions were led by OBU faculty members and administrators.
