Hurley College Honors Outstanding Science and Math Students

OBU's James E. Hurley College of Science and Mathematics recognized its exceptional students during OBU's 2015 Awards ConvocationWednesday, May 6. Dr. Debbie Blue, dean of the Hurley College, presented the awards to two outstanding seniors.
Cama Dooley, a biology major from Yukon, Oklahoma, received the Outstanding Senior in Science Award, presented to the student who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the field of science. She will graduate with the designation summa cum laude for maintaining at least a 3.95 grade-point average.
Elizabeth Ellis, a secondary mathematics education major from Tulsa, Oklahoma, received the Outstanding Senior in Mathematics Award, given to the student who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the field of mathematics. She will also graduate with the designation summa cum laude.
The seniors will participate in Spring Commencement Friday, May 15, in Raley Chapel's Potter Auditorium.
