Four Students in Recital March 10

The Warren M. Angell College of Fine Arts and the Division of Music welcome four students in recital Tuesday evening, March 10. Two recitals will take place in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium, with Melanie Clanton and Ariel Hawkins performing at 7 p.m. and Davis Simmons and Elin Williams performing at 8:30. The events are free and open to the public.
Clanton is a vocal music education major from Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She is on the Dean's Honor Roll and is a member of NAFME. She has performed in "Street Scene" and "Suor Angelica." She is from the studio of Dr. Jennifer McQuade, associate professor of music.
Hawkins is a musical arts major from Oklahoma City. She is the current president of University Chorale and has performed in "Suor Angelica" and "Susannah." She is also from the studio of Dr. Jennifer McQuade.
Davis Simmons is a worship arts major from Henderson, Nevada. He currently participates in Campus Activities Board, David's Creed and University Chorale. He is on the Dean's Honor Roll and has been awarded numerous scholarships including the President's Academic Scholarship. He is from the studio of Dr. Louima Lilite, associate professor of music.
Elin Williams is a music education major with vocal emphasis from Richardson, Texas. She is also from the studio of Dr. Louima Lilite.
