Homecoming Worship Fri. Nov. 7 at Stubblefield Chapel

OBU will hold a time of worship at Stubblefield Chapel this Friday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. The event is part of OBU's homecoming festivities Nov. 6-8. Stubblefield Chapel is located on the south side of University St. on the OBU campus in Shawnee.
The program will focus on different aspects of worship, including praise and adoration; testimony: grace/ consecration; and eternal life/ heaven. Alumni participating include worship leader Dr. Bill Green, '64; accompanist Richard Huggins, '69; DeeAnn Meece,'70; Mary Crews Worthen, '68; Mike Knight ,'70; Jeremy Welborn, '90 ex; Robert Wagoner, '71; Jack Rogers, '69; and Walter Grady, '71.
Worship will involve both performances by alumni and congregational worship. Green will welcome guests and lead in congregational worship, including, "How Great is Our God," "How Great Thou Art," "My Tribute," "In Christ Alone," "Power in the Blood," "O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing," "I'll Fly Away," "We're Marching to Zion" and "Victory in Jesus."
The Men's Trio, comprised of Knight, bass; Wagoner, tenor two; and Welborn, tenor one; will perform the pieces "Faithful One," "I'll Have a New Body" and "Satisfied."
The Mixed Quartet includes Meece, soprano; Worthen, alto; Grady, tenor; and Rogers, bass. They will combine with the Men's Trio on "I'll Have a New Body" and "Satisfied" as well as perform "We'll Sing and Shout."
Soloists featured throughout the service include Rogers, Worthen, Knight, Meece and Grady.
