Event packet pick-up, including the race day bib and Bison Stampede goodie bag, will be held at the Recreation and Wellness Center (RAWC) on the OBU campus Friday, Nov. 7 from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Race Day registration and packet pickup will begin Saturday, Nov. 8 at 6 a.m., also at the RAWC, with the races starting at 7 a.m. Runners may still register the morning of the race, but t-shirts will not be guaranteed at that time.
Race promoters are holding two contests for race participants in advance of the Bison Stampede. Participants who live outside of the Shawnee area or live out of state, and who register from Oct. 27 to Oct. 31, will be entered in a drawing for one free night's stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Shawnee on the evening of Nov. 7, before the race.
Event organizers are also holding a photo contest, asking racers to take photos of themselves training for the race and post them on Twitter or Instagram using #BisonStampede and mentioning @obu_rawc. Those posting photos will be entered to win a free session with a professional massage therapist immediately following the race.
