Warren M. Angell College of Fine Arts Recognizes Outstanding Students

OBU's Warren M. Angell College of Fine Arts recently recognized its exceptional students during OBU's 2014 Awards Convocation Wednesday, May 7.
Dr. Ken Gabrielse, dean of the Warren M. Angell College of Fine Arts, presented three outstanding senior awards to students.
Noelle McDowell, a graphic design major from Little Elm, Texas, received the Outstanding Senior in the Division of Art Award. She will graduate with the designation summa cum laude.
Charity Jernigan, a communication studies major from Boynton, Oklahoma, received the Outstanding Senior in the Division of Communication Arts Award. She will graduate with the designation summa cum laude.
Morganne Garcia, a music education: instrumental, P-12 major from Rogers, Arkansas, received the Outstanding Senior in the Division of Music Award. She will graduate with the designation magna cum laude.
Graduating seniors will participate in Spring Commencement Friday, May 16, in Raley Chapel's Potter Auditorium. Students graduate with the designation summa cum laude for maintaining at least a 3.95 grade-point average. Students who maintain at least at 3.70 GPA are designated magna cum laude. Students who maintain at least a 3.40 GPA are designated cum laude.
