OBU Hurley College Presents Awards

OBU's James E. Hurley College of Science and Mathematics recently recognized its exceptional students during OBU's 2014 Awards Convocation Wednesday, May 7.
Dr. Debbie Blue, dean of the Hurley College, presented the awards. Two outstanding seniors in the Hurley College were recognized.
Molly Denny, a biology major from Fort Worth, Texas, received the Outstanding Senior in Science Award, presented to the student who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the field of science. She will graduate with the designation summa cum laude.
Rebecca Dorsch, a secondary mathematics education major from Independence, Missouri, received the Outstanding Senior in Mathematics Award, given to the student who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the field of mathematics. She will graduate with the designation summa cum laude.
The seniors will participate in Spring Commencement Friday, May 16, in Raley Chapel's Potter Auditorium. Students graduate with the designation summa cum laude for maintaining at least a 3.95 grade-point average.
