Slothower to Present Senior Recital April 25

OBU student Kaitlin Slothower will perform her senior recital Friday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium on the OBU campus. The community is invited to attend the free event.
Slothower is a Spanish major with a musical arts voice emphasis minor from Edmond, Okla. The daughter of Steve and Becky Slothower, she is from the studio of Dr. Louima Lilite, assistant professor of music. During the performance, she will be assisted by Lilite on piano.
The recital will include works by Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Puccini, Catalani, Copland and Myers.
Slothower has served as secretary of Alpha Mu Gamma National Foreign Language Honor Society and captain of the OBU Swim and Dive Team. She won second place at Oklahoma Nationals in 2013 and has been named to the Dean's Honor Roll.
During her time on Bison Hill, Slothower has performed in the Concerto-Aria concert; "Suor Angelica"; and as Mrs. Jones in "Street Scene." Following graduation, she plans to attend a physician assistant program as well as continue singing and performing.
