Graham Jones to Hold Senior Recital April 6

OBU student Graham Jones will perform his senior recital Sunday, April 6, at 2:30 p.m. in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium. The community is invited to attend the free event.
Jones is a music composition major from Arlington, Texas. The son of Doug and Jana Jones, he is from the studio of Dr. Jim Vernon, OBU professor of music.
The recital will be comprised of compositions created by Jones. The performance will include various musical styles including waltz, a woodwind sonata, and an 8-bit piece.
Jones has been named to the President's Honor Roll; received a Music History and Research Award; and is a Presser Scholar.
During his time on Bison Hill, he has been a member of the Vision Team; played for the OBU / Shawnee Community Orchestra, and has been a member of the University Chorale. Jones had an orchestral tone poem "March of the Vulsutyrim" performed in the 2012 Concerto-Aria Concert and performs for his band, "Overseer".
Upon graduation, Jones plans to continue serving God through worship leadership, song writing and music composition.
