Curtsinger to Perform Senior Recital May 6

OBU student Kayla Curtsinger will perform her senior bassoon recital Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium. The community is invited to attend the free event.
Curtsinger is an instrumental music education major from Pryor, Okla. The daughter of Richard Jr. and Dianna Curtsinger, she is from the studio of T.J. Pettit. During the recital, Curtsinger will be accompanied by Sandra Meyer, staff accompanist on piano; Sarah Gore, violin; and Graeson Griffin, piano. The recital will include works by Mozart, Rasetti, and Vivaldi.
During her time on Bison Hill, Curtsinger has been named to the President's Honor Roll. She is a member of the OBU Symphonic Winds; OBU Bisonette Women's Glee Club; OBU Shawnee Community Orchestra; Kappa Kappa Psi; and the National Association for Music Education. Following graduation, she plans to teach elementary music.
The audience is cordially invited to a reception in Raley Chapel Room 142 immediately following the recital.
