Former OBU Trumpet Professor to Present Free Clinics March 11-12

Former OBU trumpet professor Wiff Rudd will be on the OBU campus March 11-12. The events are open to the public.
Rudd will present a trumpet clinic Tuesday, March 11, at noon in the band hall of Raley Chapel. On Wednesday, March 12, at noon, he will lead a seminar for instrumental music students in Yarborough Auditorium.
Rudd served as assistant professor of music at OBU from 1978-1985 and performed regularly with the Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra. He currently serves as professor of trumpet at Baylor University. He is a member of the Baylor Brass as well as the internationally acclaimed Rhythm and Brass. He received music degrees from Baylor University and the University of Northern Colorado, and his primary mentors include Ron Fox, William Pfund, the late Michael Ewald and Larry Skinner.
