Blanchard to Perform Senior Recital April 3

OBU student Robyn Blanchard will perform her senior recital Thursday, April 3, at 8:30 p.m. in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium on the OBU campus. The community is invited to attend.

Blanchard is a music education major from Prosper, Texas. The daughter of Glen and Roxanne Blanchard, she is from the studio of Carlos Feller, professor of flute. During the performance, Blanchard will be assisted by Sandra Meyer, staff accompanist on piano.

The recital will include works by Clarke, Doppler, Vivaldi and Dehnhard.

Blanchard has been named to the President's Honor Roll and Dean's Honor Roll. She is a member of the Symphonic Winds; Bisonette Women's Glee Club; Fellowship of Church Musicians; and the National Association for Music Education.

Upon graduation, Blanchard plans to "inspire others through God's gift of music."
