OBU Football Kicks Off Saturday
August 29, 2013
Thousands of fans are expected to converge at OBU's Eddie Hurt Field on Saturday to experience the first OBU Bison football game since 1940.
Fans that can't make it to the game will be able to catch every play live through Internet and radio broadcasts.
The first kickoff in 73 years will be carried live in Shawnee on AM-1450, Cool Gold KGFF. OBU Hall of Fame members John Parrish and Norris Russell will have the call on radio and on internet audio at the Bison Athletics website.
OBU and broadcasting partner Stretch Internet also will carry a live video broadcast with OBU students providing all aspects of the production. MT Bralley will handle the play by play with color from Jonathan Polasek and field reporting by Raven Posteal.
Single game tickets may be purchased for each of the five Bison home games at www.obubisontickets.com.
General admission single game tickets are $10 and reserved bench seating sections are $20. Reserved chair back seats and VIP tent tickets are sold out. A limited number of business partner packages are still available. For more information call 405-585-5411.
Due to the large demand for tickets, general admission tickets do not guarantee a seat and may be valid for standing room access only. General admission seating is on a first come, first served basis.
Fans wishing to purchase handicapped seating may do so by calling 405-585-5411. The home opener is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Aug. 31st.
