Graduate School to Host Orientation Dec. 11
December 6, 2012
OBU Graduate School will host an orientation Tuesday, Dec. 11, to allow students enrolled in the next cohort an opportunity to meet the school's faculty and staff as they prepare to pursue their graduate degrees.
The orientation will be from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the OBU Graduate School campus located at 3800 North May Ave. in Oklahoma City.
Classes begin Jan. 7 for students pursuing a master's of science in nursing degree and Jan. 8 for students pursuing a master's of business administration degree. The first energy course will begin Jan. 10 for students enrolled in the MBA Energy Management Track, taught by Cindy and John Green from Sandridge.
"Orientation is an exciting time for the Graduate School faculty and staff to meet all of the new students," said Ann Gray, associate director. "We like to take this opportunity to provide a comfortable and casual environment for the students to address any questions they may have before they begin classes and to become familiar with the facility."
During the event, students will participate in a group information session, and then dinner will be served. Following dinner, students will engage in information and discussion sessions regarding their specific programs.
