2012 Harvest Court to Honor Outstanding Seniors

OBU will honor outstanding seniors at the annual Harvest Court ceremony Saturday, Nov. 10, at the 7 p.m. Harvest Festival in Raley Chapel's Potter auditorium as a part of OBU's Homecoming celebration.

Senior students were nominated by their peers in six different categories: harvest king, harvest queen, best all-around man, best all-around woman, most servant-like man and most servant-like woman. The student body will vote on the finalists, and the winners will be announced during the Harvest Court ceremony.

Harvest Court finalists include:

Harvest King: Neal Ellis, an applied communications major from Midlothian, Texas; Parker Goforth, an applied communications major from Tulsa, Okla.; and Jesse Grandstaff, a religion- Bible major from Seminole, Okla.

Harvest Queen: Erin Black, a Bible major from Cassville, Mo.; Tristen Rizzo, a pre-allied health major from Owasso, Okla.; and Kallie Engle, an English major from Durant, Okla.

Best All-Around Man: Travis Alexander, an applied communications major from Bartlesville, Okla.; Matt Baker, an English and anthropology double major from Muskogee, Okla.; Curtis Headrick, an accounting/finance major from Sayre, Okla.; and Colin Metcalf, a business administration major from Jenks, Okla.

Best All-Around Woman: Karlie Clifford, an early childhood/elementary education major from Oklahoma City; Shannon Griffith, a secondary mathematics education major from Parker, Colo.; and Leah Palmer, an English major from Oklahoma City.

Most Servant-Like Man: Aaron Foster, a physics major from Oklahoma City; Aaron Hayes, an exercise and sports science pre-allied health major from Justin, Texas; and Will Yarbrough, an anthropology major from Blanchard, Okla.

Most Servant-Like Woman: Jessica Masterson, an interdisciplinary major from Oklahoma City; Elizabeth Sidler, an interdisciplinary major from Argyle, Texas; and Lauren Smith, a communications major from Greenwood, Ark.
