Alum Paul Harvey Discusses Baptist History with Faculty, Students

OBU alum Dr. Paul Harvey, professor of history at The University of Colorado, addresses OBU faculty and students on campus Tuesday, Sept. 28. The Department of Anthropology, History, and Political Science hosted Harvey in a set of three presentations. The first, "Baptists and the American South," illuminated the paradoxes of Baptist history in America and allotted time for a question-and-answer session. The second, "History, Faith, and the Academy," was a luncheon sponsored by OBU's Faith and Disciplines Committee, and the third was a formal lecture in Bailey's Tulsa Royalties Auditorium, titled, "Moses, Jesus, and the Trickster in the Evangelical South."
