Instead of focusing on what is wrong with the church today, Dr. Tom Elliff tells Oklahoma Baptist University students "what's right" about the church in his message during OBU's weekly chapel service Wednesday, Jan. 27. A longtime Oklahoma pastor, Elliff most recently served as the International Mission Board's senior vice president for spiritual nurture and church relations. He also served as a pastor for 42 years, during which time he served two terms as president of the Southern Baptist Convention, and a term as the president of the SBC Pastors Conference. Before accepting the post with the IMB he was pastor of First Southern Baptist Church of Del City from 1985-2005.
