Four Join Recreation and Wellness Center Staff

Four new staff members have joined Oklahoma Baptist University's Recreation and Wellness Center staff. Jamie Lee, Joseph Porter and Kristopher Stephens started work as part-time facility assistants on Aug. 28. Janie Keiser joined the staff as a part-time group fitness instructor on Sept. 3.
Lee graduated from OBU in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science. She previously worked at Tinker Air Force Base's health and wellness center. She is a member of Southgate Baptist Church in Moore, Okla., where she teaches Sunday School.
Porter graduated from East Central University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. He previously worked at Seminole Nation Health Center's Diabetic Education unit. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Seminole. A member of the United States Marine Corps Reserves, Porter has served two overseas tours of duty, in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Stephens graduated from OBU in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in religion and youth ministry. He previously worked at the recreation center for Quail Springs Baptist Church in Edmond. He is a member of Quail Springs and works with the youth department.
Keiser is an experienced group fitness instructor who will be teaching several non-credit classes for the RAWC including water fitness, cardio surprise, toning and flexibility and Pilates. Janie is certified through the Cooper Institute in Dallas and is a former group fitness instructor at Heritage College, Firelake Wellness Center, St. Gregory's University and Vance Air Force Base. She is a member at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Shawnee.
