Miller Named to All-Star Team

Former Bison baseball player Drew Miller has been selected for the Golden Baseball League All-Star Game and Home Run Derby.
Miller, who plays for the Calgary Vipers of the Northern Division, is batting .373 with 13 home runs and 48 RBI through 43 games. The GBL All-Stars will be playing the All-Stars from the United League in San Angelo, Texas.
Calgary won the first half crown. The 10-team league has teams in Canada, California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
Miller spent the previous six months playing in Australia.
While with the Bison, Miller earned honorable mention All-America honors in 2002. He was All-Sooner Athletic Conference and All-Region in 2001 and 2002. He led the team in hitting both of those seasons, hitting .400 in 2001 and .428 in 2002.
