Five Netters Earn Academic Honors

Oklahoma Baptist University boasted five NAIA All-America Scholar Athletes in men's and women's tennis, it was announced Thursday.
All five OBU players are juniors and return next season.
Brooke Mowery was the lone Lady Bison to earn the honor, which requires junior or senior status academically, with a grade point average no lower than 3.50 on all work toward the degree. Mowery is a business major from Owasso.
On the men's side, Peter McCorkle, D.J. Reeves, Scott Milner and Jonathan Lookadoo all earned the honor.
McCorkle is a youth ministry major from Sand Springs and Lookado is a Biblical languages major from Rogers, Ark., Milner is a religion major from Borger, Texas, and Reeves is a Bible major from Edmond.
