Benson Player of the Year in Germany

Former Oklahoma Baptist All-American Frank Benson earned high basketball honors in Germany.

Benson, a 6-5 forward, led his team, SVD 49 Dortmund to the league championship. After averaging 28.6 points and 12 rebounds per game, Benson was named German All-Regionalliga West Player of the Year and First-Team.

He spent two seasons at Oklahoma Baptist and was a 2006 First-Team All-American when he averaged 23 points per game.

Benson led the Bison to NAIA Fab Four in 2006 and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
