Men’s Golf Season Ends at Regional

Oklahoma Baptist University's Bison golf team ended its season with a ninth-place finish in the NAIA Region VI Tournament in Lubbock, Texas, Tuesday.
The Bison shot a three-round 921 and had a top-10 golfer in Alex Hamilton.
Hamilton shot rounds of 72, 73 and 73 to finish ninth at 218.
Mark Richards was 26th with a 226 after rounds of 75, 79 and 72. Jason Carpenter took 49th (75-80-82) with a 237. Arnaud Cotton was 51st at 240 (82-79-79) and Zac Rawls was 61st at 248 (83-82-83).
Oklahoma City won the event and the automatic berth to the NAIA Tournament with an 856. followed by Wayland Baptist at 862, Oklahoma Christian at 868, Texas Wesleyan at 887, Northwood at 890, Lubbock Christian at 900, Southern Nazarene at 900, College of the Southwest at 913, OBU, Texas-Brownsville at 945, Northwestern Oklahoma State at 992 and Mid-America Christian at 998.
