Lady Bison 10th at Bluebonnet

The Oklahoma Baptist women's golf team placed 10th in the 2008 Bluebonnet Classic Tuesday in Texas.

OBU shot a team 743 over two rounds, finishing 134 strokes behind winner Oklahoma City.

Cierra Boone was 28th to lead OBU, shooting an 89 and an 87 for 176. Molly Moore was 35th at 180, shooting 92 and 88. Laura Cummins had an 89 and 102 for a 48th-place 191.

Heather Brown had the most interesting tournament. After shooting a 110 in the first round, Brown had the best round of the tournament for OBU, firing an 86 for 52nd place at 196.

The Lady Bison, along with the OBU men, host the Bison Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Shawnee Country Club.
