OBU Qualifes Four More at OU

Oklahoma Baptist University's track teams came up with 11 qualifying times, including four new national meet entrants, in the J.D. Martin Invitational at the University of Oklahoma this weekend.
Dominique Matthews won the 200 meters in a new qualifying time of 22.11. He also placed seventh in the 60 meters with a new qualifying time of 6.93 seconds.
Justin Stroup qualified for the mile run with a fourth-place 4:20.07.
On the women's side, Sherene Pinnock qualified in the 600 with a first-place 1:22.61 in the 600 yard dash.
The Lady Bison also improved on three previous qualifying marks, including the 4x400 relay with a winning time of 3:51.88.
Two OBU women improved in the 400 meters. Marissa Moseley was sixth at 57.35 and Aletha Hubbard improved on her provisional time at 58.97.
Also hitting the qualifying marks in their events were Lamar Baskin with an 8.32 in the 60 meter hurdles and T.J. Lightsey in the 600 yards at 1:11.40.
Optimum Baker hit the qualifying mark in the 600 yards for the women at 1:27.26.
OBU returns to action in the Adidas Invitational at the University of Nebraska Feb. 8-9.
