Lady Bison Add Noble’s Solomon

Oklahoma Baptist University has signed Noble High School softball player Kelsey Solomon to play for the Lady Bison, beginning in the 2008-09 school year.

Solomon, the daughter of Frank and Dee Solomon, was a three-time All-Conference softball player for NHS and was All-Conference in basketball in 2007.

A utility infielder, Solomon also was American Legion Student of the Year in 2005-06 and again in 2006-07.

"Kelsey came highly recommended and she's the type of kid you just want to see succeed," said OBU coach Pam Fink. "I think she's going to make a good contribution to both to the softball team and the university as a whole."

Solomon said she selected OBU because it provides a "good Christian environment to play softball."
