Collazo Named Player of the Week

Josh Collazo of Oklahoma Baptist University has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Collazo, a junior first baseman from Tampa, Fla., drove in 17 runs and scored 11 more in leading Oklahoma Baptist to a 5-1 record for the week with two-game sweeps of Tabor and College of the Southwest, along with a split at Hardin-Simmons. Collazo batted .400 with four walks and four home runs. He has home runs in each of his last four games.

OBU returns to action with a nine-inning, Sooner Athletic Conference-opening game Thursday at 2:30 p.m. against Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
