OBU Graduate Program Hosts Grand Opening January 23
January 22, 2007
Oklahoma Baptist University's International Graduate School will host its grand opening at the Momentum Building, 111 N. Harrison in downtown Oklahoma City Tuesday, Jan. 23, at noon. An open house is slated at the building on Thursday, Jan. 25, from 5-7 p.m.
The facility, which will house OBU's graduate programs, is in Oklahoma City's Triangle District, just north of Bricktown.
The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting with the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce representatives, and remarks from several individuals, including OBU President Mark Brister and Bert Belanger from UrbanWorks, a local development group.
Marian Combs, director of OBU's International Graduate School, said the OBU-IGS is hosting the open house to introduce the MBA degree program to area business leaders and prospective students.
"Our program offers the quickest start-to-completion for any MBA program offered in downtown Oklahoma City," said Combs. "We believe professionals in the metro area will find our program to be particularly appealing."
Both events are free. The grand opening includes a luncheon
