Barnett, Jackson to Enter Hall of Fame

All-American athletes Darrell Barnett and Jamaal Jackson have been selected for induction into the Oklahoma Baptist University Athletic Hall of Fame.
The pair will be inducted at the university's annual Harvest Dinner Nov. 11, as part of Homecoming weekend.
Barnett was a driving force behind back-to-back Fab Four OBU basketball teams. Barnett was a two-time All-Conference guard who earned second-team All-America honors in 1994 and honorable mention in 1993.
He collected 1,276 points in his two years at OBU, to go along with 621 assists.
Barnett averaged 17.3 points, 7.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds for the 1993 Bison team that reached the NAIA championship game. He then posted 17.1 points with 9.3 assists per game for the 1994 semifinalist squad.
He made the All-Tournament team in 1993.
Jackson was an 11-time indoor track and 11-time outdoor track All-American, for a total of 22 All-America decorations, including eight national championship performances.
Jackson was a three-time indoor national champion, winning the 400 meters in 1999 and anchoring the national champion 4x400 relay in 1999 and 2000.
He claimed five outdoor national crowns, winning the 200 in 1998, the 400 hurdles in 2000 and 2001, and the 1999 4x100 and 2000 4x400 relay.
