Negri, Arruda Honorable Mention All-Americans

Two Lady Bison soccer players became Oklahoma Baptist University's first women's soccer honorable mention All-Americans when the honors were announced Dec. 2.
Goalkeeper Maira Negri and forward Katya Arruda were listed as honorable mention selections to the NAIA All-America team.
Negri, a senior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, was 13-5-1 with four shutouts and two combined shutouts. She allowed 1.17 goals per game and graduates from OBU with every goalkeeping record as a two-year starter.
Arruda also has been a two-year starter and scored 13 goals and had five assists this season for 31 points. A sophomore from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Arruda holds OBU season records for goals and points and career records for goals, assists and points.
