Oklahoma Baptist never trailed after the 16:53 mark and finally broke free of Lindenwood for a 68-52 win Saturday.
The Lady Bison led by nine late in the first half, but the Lions finished on a 7-2 run and trailed OBU by a 30-26 count at halftime.
Hampered by 19 turnovers, OBU saw its lead dwindle to 39-37 with 12:31 left in the game, but Dilenny Castillo, Rachel Heins and Tabetha Eaton led the home team on a 7-0 run.
The OBU ladies had a modest 54-50 lead with 4:06 to play in the game, but sailed away on a game-ending 14-2 run to finish with the final margin being the largest gap between the teams.
Castillo went wiled with 24 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and four steals. Heins added 16 points and six rebounds while Eaton finished with a dozen points and six steals.
The Lady Bison, now unbeaten at 6-0, will get their most stern test of the non-conference season on Friday with fourth-ranked Union visiting at 6 p.m.
