OBU Holds Education Forum

The Division of Teacher Education at Oklahoma Baptist University will hold its annual public forum at on Tuesday, October 11, at 5 p.m. The forum will be in Bailey Business Center's Tulsa Royalties Auditorium on the OBU campus.
The forum is designed to provide an opportunity for the general public to both learn about the teacher education program at OBU, and to give input that can assist the program in preparing future teachers.
OBU offers bachelor's degrees in 12 areas of education: art; early childhood; elementary health, physical education and recreation; music-instrumental; music-vocal; secondary English; secondary mathematics; secondary science; secondary social studies; Spanish; and special education.
As a part of its accreditation process, OBU seeks input from community stakeholders.
The teacher education program at OBU is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education and the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation.
