Lady Bison Sixth at SNU

Oklahoma Baptist University's Lady Bison golf team finished in the middle of the pack at the Southern Nazarene Invitational at Rose Creek Golf Course in Oklahoma City Tuesday.
Freshman Nicole Stafford led the OBU women with a two-round total of 168, finishing 21 over par in 23rd place.
Jennifer Mann and Maggie Cole were tied in 29th at 170, followed by Lacy Humphrey in 35th at 171 and Michelle Hunter in 36th at 172.
As a team, OBU was sixth among the 12 teams with a 673 total. Oklahoma City and Redlands tied for first at 630, followed by Southern Nazarene at 651, Berry (Ga.) at 654 and Savannah College of Art and Design at 663.
Other teams in the field included Northwood (Texas), Newman (Kan.), Lubbock Christian, Lindenwood (Mo.), Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southwestern College (Kan.).
The OBU women return to action Oct. 3 at the OCU Fall Classic.
