Oklahoma Baptist posted its second consecutive 11-goal game and recorded its first shut-out with an 11-0 win over Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College Wednesday.
Marcos Silva banged out a hat trick and added two assists. Pablo Campos recorded two goals, upping his team-best season total to five, while also providing two assists.
The Bison launched 44 shots with Hillsdale's Branon Schopf recording 11 saves.
Nickson Odeny gave OBU a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute with assists from Campos and Rafael Heck.
Silva contributed to the next three goals, scoring on a feed from Fabio Pires in the ninth minute and dishing assists to Elijah Mwansanga and Campos, the latter goal on a header, for a 4-0 lead in the 18th minute.
Campos scored on a penalty kick in the 23rd minute.
Silva scored the next two goals with assists from Campos and Heck. Pires used some dazzling footwork, putting himself in position for OBU's 8-0 lead in the 37th minute.
In the second half, Taizo Kasuya scored with an assist from Kyle Anderson and Marcelo Drummond gave OBU a double-digit lead at 10-0 with a goal at the 53:14 with an assist from Kasuya.
Brett Jackson rounded out the scoring for the Bison with a feed from Anderson in the 88th minute.
OBU Joao Acedo and Quinn Will combined on the shut out, each playing 45 minutes and each with one save.
The Bison, now 2-0, will play Texas A&M International in Laredo on Friday.
