Bacone Opts out of Shawnee trip

Bacone College has opted out of its doubleheader with Oklahoma Baptist completely.

The women's game was scratched when Bacone did not have enough players to compete and the single men's game was then moved to OBU and scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Bacone opted out of the competitions altogether late Monday morning. There will be no make-up game.

The Lady Bison now open at Oral Roberts University Friday, Aug. 26, with the men set to kick off the season in Joplin, Mo., Aug. 29, against Ozark Christian College.
